Human Resources Manager
You will lead your team in providing HR services and support at a gaming facility. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing advice and guidance to managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs
Ensuring compliance with human resources related legislation and driving corporate programming
Recruitment, salary administration, and health and safety
Overseeing training, performance appraisals and corrective counselling
Managing and developing your staff, creating a positive work environment, and promoting the highest calibre of customer service
Developing and controlling your department budget
Leading your team in compliance with AGCO regulations and adherence to applicable laws, policies and procedures
The successful candidate will possess:
A University Degree or equivalent with a focus in Human Resources or related discipline. Completion of a management-training program is also required
Managerial experience in the related field of five (5) or more years. Completion of professional development program in human resources administration would be beneficial (CHRL)
Working knowledge of computer software packages and HRIS (PeopleSoft would be an asset)
The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
