SummaryThis is a 6 month contract position The Client Service Associate (CSA) participates in client support, and responds to questions related to data collection and submission as well as all CAD products and services. In addition, the CSA supports the development and deployment of new products and services by participating in testing and verification activities, as required.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides direct client support for DAD & NACRS products and services and responds to questions related to data submission, report interpretation as well as facility testing.Assists with annual review of facility test data submitted to the DAD and NACRS to ensure data submissions meet the fiscal year requirements. Contacts clients to explain test results, including identifying errors and assisting with resolution of issues as necessary.Monitors and maintains record of facility testing status for DAD and NACRS facilities. Liaises with the ITS Common Services and Product Delivery teams to resolve issues as necessary.Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for reports and new products, as required. For example, the DAD/NACRS Submission Reports, Facility Testing system and DAD/NACRS Production System. Supports the Client Services Representatives (CSRs) to develop, update and/or deliver education material (including in-person workshops, web conferences, eLearning materials).Develop and maintain tools and business processes pertaining to DAD/NACRS production system support.Participates in internal and external projects and activities, as required.Assumes responsibility for other duties assigned by the Program Lead.

Knowledge & ExperienceUndergraduate degree in Health Service Management or Health Information Management or a related field.At least two years’ experience in health care or a related field.Knowledge of CIHI products, services and general familiarity with CIHI as an organization.Familiarity with utilization management and data analysis as applied to the health care sector a definite asset.Previous work related exposure to hospital information systems and/or electronic health records is an asset.Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in system user acceptance testing is an asset.English/French bilingualism is an asset.
