Gensler’s Brand Design studio is a collaborative team of designers, strategists, and storytellers that engages with a wide variety of clients on projects of all sizes-from brand identity and digital experience design to signage systems and branded environments. As Gensler brand designers, we help our clients tell their unique stories effectively via every channel available in today’s diverse media landscape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conception to completion of projects ranging from brand identity, environmental graphic design, signage + wayfinding, and digital experience design. The designer will work independently and as a key partner on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams. They will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including retail, real estate, financial, government, hospitality, community and professional services.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Brand Design with a degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments
Ability to work closely with design leadership across Gensler to promote interdisciplinary design philosophy and to facilitate its advancement both inside and outside the firm
Demonstrate successful business development, nurturing and sustaining client relationships
Excellent communication/presentation skills and experience as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teams
Strong creative concept presentation capabilities, to communicate with teams and clients
Knowledge of signage + wayfinding strategies and solutions
Proficiency drawing in scale and familiarity with architectural construction documents, elevations, plans, and shop drawings
Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types
Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite
