With a diverse range of businesses within their portfolio we are now seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join their corporate office.This position is to sit as part of the holding company, they are the controlling body for all companies within the group, this role will be to provide leadership and guidance to the senior executives and board members. The ability to present and lead the organisation in the area of IT security, to advise on best practices and new trends are key for this role, experience at blue chip level is desired.Day to day you will be responsible for the IT infrastructure, assisting in the development, implementation and documentation of security related policies, procedures and practices. You will monitor systems, respond to alerts and issues relating to security and action accordingly. Keeping abreast of industry leading practices, understanding and identifying forensic tools and security solutions, you will be proactive in your approach and diligent in your work. To be eligible for this role you must hold relevant qualifications such as CISSP, CISM or CIA, without these you can not be considered.

Requirements: Qualifications:-University or College degree in computer science or equivalent experience. -Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. -Strong understanding of network principles and standards in a large mixed protocol LAN/WAN environment. -Qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be considered a strong asset. -Strong knowledge of governance and controls frameworks such as COBIT and COSO will be considered an asset. -The candidate must have strong knowledge of risks and controls related to databases, IT platforms, operating systems, network services, and business applications. -Advanced experience and knowledge in Windows XP/Vista, Windows 7/8 and Office 2013. The following skills, technologies and experience are desirable: -Security Event and Incident Management solutions, Juniper.-Firewalls, Juniper Switches, F5 GTM/LTM, Secure Pulse, Microsoft TMG, Microsoft Security Essentials, Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services, Microsoft Azure, Aruba Wi-Fi. -Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) is an absolute must have as well as strong business acumen, professionalism and respect for confidentiality. -Organized, strong problem solving and analytical skills, good time management skills and the ability to conceptualize and communicate solutions. -Ability to work in a team environment, and to work flexible hours.
