Job Summary:

Drawing upon global best practices, the Consultant, Organizational Design (OD) and Change will focus on providing senior advisory and consulting services to global Human Resources Business Partners and senior leaders to identify and optimize organization structures and roles to improve efficiency and increase productivity. Drawing upon international experience, this role will also lead global change projects that involve significant impact on people requiring behaviour and mind-set changes. These projects may be local or global in scope and may span across all Lines of Business and Business Process Streams for the Apotex Enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:

Organizational Design (OD)

  • Supports local and global organization design projects to improve the operational efficiencies and productivity.

  • Provides group facilitation support in partnership with HRBPs during strategic planning sessions, task forces, and project teams to ensure the organization structure facilitates people working together toward strategic goals

  • Supports the Associate Director, Global Change and OD to plan, develop, lead, facilitate, and evaluate organizational development activities to meet the strategic direction of the organization

  • Provides advice on internal organizational development opportunities to the Global Human Resources Leadership Team and Executives as requested

  • Builds, supports and enhances organizational development programs.

  • Identifies organizational design potential pitfalls and business impacts to Human Resources so they can mitigate risks for their client groups.

  • Provides expert guidance and advice on how we can further leverage organizational design tools and systems to evolve our organizational charts

Organizational Change Management (OCM)

  • Supports business leads and HR Business partners on complex global projects by effectively preparing, managing, and reinforcing the required human changes.

  • Acts as an advisor to other OCM Consultants who are leading process and system changes to not overlook the pitfalls and considerations of human change.

  • Recommends and leads the adoption of new tools, techniques, and processes pertaining for OCM to achieve operational efficiencies.

Other

  • Develops business relationships and promotes how Global Change and OD can help achieve greater human capital results.

  • Manages client and key stakeholders expectations to build and sustain long-term relationships

  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.

  • Performs all work in support of our Corporate Values of Pride, Accountability, Integrity and Diligence; Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values.

  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

  • Acts as a delegate to the Associate Director, Global Change and OD as requested.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavioural, Psychology or Social Sciences.

  • 7-10 years of experience in HR consulting or HR leadership with in-depth experience in organizational design, change management, HR Strategy, or business transformation.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver commitments as an individual contributor and within a project team

  • Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work products

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to coach, counsel and guide clients across all levels of an organization

  • Skilled at anticipating the long term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving

  • Impeccable verbal and written communications

  • A willingness to travel as required

  • Computer proficiency in office automation, collaboration tools and workflow software.
