Sanofi Pasteur Limited is looking for motivated and results driven individuals to join our FF&P Department as a Process Manager. Key responsibilities will include the following:

Position Summary:

This role functions as the main technical process leader for the area related to equipment, quality, and processes in Label and Packaging.The role provides leadership on improving the overall performance for the Labeling and Packaging operations.This includes safety, compliance, business process improvements and operational activities.

Major Responsibilities:

1.Provides leadership for set-up and troubleshooting of label and packaging machinery to mechanics in order to minimize equipment downtime.

2.Provides Continuous Improvement leadership for Labeling and Packaging.These are larger individual projects to improve OEE, Deviations, Yield Etc.

3.Provides Project Management Support.Be the primary interface for coordinating Package Engineering projects and similar activities.Support technical transfers as required.

4.Assist and participate in equipment qualification and validation activities and provides guidance in preparing equipment training materials, operating manuals and standard operating procedures.

5.Provide leadership and direction for the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances and assist in the resolution of associated root causes related to Labeling and Packaging.

6.Collaborate with members from various functional groups to support production schedule adherence.

7.Support departmental compliance by responding to internal and external audits observations.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Engineering is a minimum requirement.

  • P.Eng designation.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant industry experience is a minimum requirement.

  • Relevant industries: vaccine or pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing also being considered.

  • Working knowledge of equipment typically used in aseptic filling, inspection, labelling and packaging.

  • Excellent knowledge of cGMP with context of pharmaceutical/biological manufacturing.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

  • Strong analytical, hands-on troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

  • Strong technical ability related to pharmaceutical and/or packaging equipment is an asset.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 4:00 p.m.
