Department: Operating Room (OR)
Hours: Various 8 and 10 Hours Shifts - Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 15:30 and 07:30 to 17:30

The OR is comprised of two OR suites and a four bay Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU). A wide array of surgical services are provided, all with a priority focus on cancer care. These surgical services encompass surgical oncology and radiation oncology. The PACU manages the patient in the post operative phase and is staffed by critical care nurses.
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Current Operating Room experience
Completion of a recognized Operating Room course required
Exercise initiative and good judgment with ability to multi-task
Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
