JOB SUMMARY

The purpose ofthispositionistoprovidebusiness operationsadministrativesupport toaSrManagerand/oragroupofprofessionals withresponsibilityforamajororganizationalfunction/departmentand/or in support ofabusinessunit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs administrativeduties suchasconductingresearch,updatingandmaintainingdatabases,preparingcompanyforms andmaintainingconfidentialfiles.

Servesasanadministrativeliaison toothers within/outsidethedepartment/companyregardingadministrationissuesinareassuchasaccounting(expense reports, revenue recognition),marketing(proposal collateral,clientevents),mappingandresearch(clientresearch).

Createsandinitiates correspondenceandmemoranda;compiles andpreparesdataforadministrativereportsandpresentations.

Schedules andmaintainscalendarofappointments,meeting sandtravelitineraries,andcoordinatesrelatedarrangements.

Carriesoutspecialprojects andassignmentsasrequested.Mayberesponsiblefor coordination/planningandexecutionofspecialeventsandconferencesforclient,departmentand/orofficeevents. Mayparticipate incommunicatingnewprogram(s)toemployees.

Answersphonecalls withregardstoinquiries,researchingandresolvingproblemsrequiring knowledgeofdepartmentpoliciesandprocedures.

Administers thedepartment/businessunitrecordkeeping system;updates variousdepartment/businessunitrecordsandpublications;ensuresthatdepartment/businessunit filesaremaintainedinaccordancewith companypolicies andprocedures;reviews requestsforinformationanddeterminestheappropriatenessofrelease.

Otherduties maybeassigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Highschooldiplomaorgeneral educationdegree(GED)required. Associate'sdegree(AA)orequivalentfromtwo-year collegeortechnicalschool preferred.Minimum oftwo tofouryearsofrelated experienceand/or training.
