LGE Canada Senior Manager Supply Chain Management Optimization in Toronto, Ontario

This role will contribute to LG achieving a best-in-class, customer-centric supply chain by leading innovation in simplifying and automating supply chain processes and delivering strategic customer-facing supply chain solutions.

Opportunity Assessment

Assess current supply chain management business processes and identify opportunities for improvement/transformation in speed, cost-to-serve, quality, and other strategic benefits for LG and LG customers

Prioritize improvement opportunities based on speed/complexity to deliver and value generated to achieve high level objectives

Participate in sharing internal best practices with LG headquarters and other subsidiary supply chain management teams

Solution Design & Implementation

Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure key requirement and objectives are met

Develop implementation project plans, outline all the dependencies, and align resources

Clearly communicate solution design for understanding across all stakeholders (internal and external) with process maps and work instructions

Manage timely execution of implementation plans while mitigating risks

Performance Measurement

Develop Key Performance Indicators to ensure improvement targets are understood, and further improvements are identified and implemented

Support cascading performance management principles throughout supply chain management and with key business partners

Team Management

Lead direct reports, and provide coaching and development support, ensuring accountability to deliver team objectives

Provide coaching and support to other supply chain management team members using best practices and process discipline

-Business process re-engineering, system solution design and change management capabilities

-Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficient)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain

-5-10 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements

-Lean, Six Sigma, or other Process Engineering qualifications would be an asset

-Supply Chain certification also an asset
