As our Supply Chain Analyst , you'll be responsible for collaborating with our cross-functional partners to develop, present, and submit our inventory forecasts on a monthly basis.
You will ensure that all information provided by our cross-functional partners and support systems are analyzed and validated before utilizing them to develop our forecasts.
You’ll be responsible for creating Sales, Receipts, & Inventory (SRI) forecasts for each of our facilities in North America to assist with their resourcing and planning needs. You will participate on key projects and strategic initiatives that help to grow and improve our Supply Chain organization. You will regularly touch base with team members and stakeholders, to reach consensus on ‘best practices.’
You will also collaborate with your global counterparts to leverage learning’s and experiences from other geographies. Other responsibilities will include leadership representation during system upgrades/release cycles, partnering with stakeholder teams on complex issue resolution, and assisting with new hire training.
Using advanced planning analytics and forecast modeling techniques develop a rolling 12-18 month SRI forecasts.
Provide commentary and analysis regarding critical changes to your forecast compared with relevant data points (e.g., prior month, budget, prior year).
Adapt to and participate in a culture of continuous process innovation and improvement. Drive to improve forecasting processes and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency of our inventory forecasts.
Build & maintain strong, positive partnerships with Demand Planning, Purchasing, S&OP, DC Ops and CO Sales teams to drive stronger business results and resolve issues.
Regularly collaborate with cross-functional and global business partners on issue resolution & process improvements.
Provide training and mentorship to team members on a regular basis.
Build and achieve consensus when discussing and presenting opportunities.
Drive issue escalation and resolution as needed.
Participate on projects as assigned.
Utilize LEAN methodology (as applicable) through problem-solving and process improvement activities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or related filed (2 additional years’ experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
5 plus years of forecasting, inventory planning, or related work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of supply chain processes
Analytically strong, detail oriented with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking)
Strong self-motivation and focus on achieving results
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
Understanding of SAP systems, Cognos and TM1 a plus
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines in a team environment
