Ocean Pipe a division of Lehigh Hanson Materials Limited is seeking a qualified Distribution Coordinator.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for arranging delivery of products to job sites, providing quotations based on customer specifications, coordinating projects, and providing sales support.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
Schedule and monitor deliveries for BC market
Maintain transportation cost tracking system
Perform takeoffs from drawings provided and prepare detailed quotations
Maintain good communication with customers and drivers
Coordinate projects from start to completion
Provide customer service to walk in customers and phone in orders
Support other sales staff
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Shipping and receiving experience, sales and knowledge of precast pipe products is an asset
Experience in the construction or the transportation industry.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Second language would be an asset.
