The role of Team Trainer will include developing programs and systems to support team specific training for Team Members, track success and partner with a variety of trainers, members of leadership and mission based representatives to ensure that the Team is meeting and exceeding Regional training goals. An educated and trained Team Member is a confident Team Member who will excel to perform to his/her highest potential.   • Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delicious food.

  • Mentor all of the Team’s new and existing Team Members.

  • Train new hires on team specific duties and ensure they have received all necessary training to set them up for success at Whole Foods Market.

  • Maintain and uphold all Regional Training Standards.

  • Provide ongoing resources and learning opportunities for Team Members to support their development.

  • Deliver necessary compliance training on an as needed basis.

  • Implement Team specific training.

  • Provide ongoing feedback to Team Leadership.

  • Responsible for disseminating and sharing communication to the Team including any Team, Store, Regional and Global updates and initiatives.

  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

  • Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and

below shoulders and squat.

  • Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.

  • Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

  • Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
