Opportunity Value & Proposition: The Business Development Manager will be responsible to prospect for new clients and partners by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. They must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Sales Development:Prospect for potential new clients/partners, and turn this into increased businessCold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunitiesMeet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your networkIdentify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organizationResearch and build relationships with new clientsParticipate in pricing the solution to serviceOver come objections a positive conclusionClient Retention:New sales of products and services to existing relationshipsWork with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needsArrange and participate in internal and external client debriefsDevelopment & Planning:Attend industry functions gathering market intelligence to share with internal stakeholdersPresent and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channelsIdentify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in salesIdentify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators on a continual basisSubmit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate with the sales management systemsForecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the teamTrack and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targetsSupport and train of all staff involved in sales, marketing and business development fo the organizationHelp to build a culture of contribution, integrity, and collaboration Candidate Profile: We require a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales or marketing experienceCRM & Google Business SuiteSoft-Skills:Networking Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism Executive Steps,www.executivesteps.cataking the mystery out of hiring.
