Position Profile & Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of digital strategy to deliver an exceptional brand and user experience across a vast array of digital properties and programs.This individual will lead a team of direct reports with expertise in Web Design, Photography, Video Editing, Social, Search & Analytics as well as relationships with outside vendors and cross-functional internal teams to execute key digital initiatives.The Manager will use core insights from analysis and strategic testing to drive online strategy and future enhancements to improve the overall customer experience meeting business objectives.This role is based in BC and will report to the Director, Marketing and Brand Management.Strategic Planning:Work closely with the Director, Marketing & Brand Management to develop and continuously improve digital strategy and tactical plans that promotes growth, positive online customer experiences and aligns with the company-s overarching marketing strategy and business objectivesStay well-informed of competitor activities and the ever changing digital landscape to ensuring digital channels maintain a strong position in the online spaceParticipate in broader marketing meetings and strategy sessionsWork cross-functionally with web developers and other stakeholders to implement content and functionality enhancements driving traffic, converting leads and improving the overall user experience consistentlyProject Management - Web:Enhance the effectiveness of consumer-facing websites and leverage as powerful & engaging channels to advance the customer buying journey & strengthen the companies- brandCollaborate with all stakeholders to drive strategy and oversee design, functionality and content enhancementsLead web enhancements from concept to completion, including the creation of initial plans, scope and project documents upon the start of each initiative; manage timelines, resources and budgets; direct design and copy development, oversee testing and quality control to ensure accuracy of information, proper functionality, high quality standards and that all project objectives are metPlan and manage new product launches and transitions across all websites in a timely mannerWork with Advertising team and agency to integrate campaign content & develop strategic destinations for various paid online initiativesSEO & SEM Optimization:Oversee the day-to-day activities of a multi-tiered Search Engine Marketing program - including Paid Search, Remarketing and Display components - with National, Regional and coverageDrive effective SEM strategies and campaigns aligned with overall marketing objectives to achieve set KPI-s and increasing online presencePlan, budget, resource management, performance analysis & optimization, report development, and the advancement of new growth strategies identifying higher ROI opportunitiesEnsure web properties are Search Engine Optimized (SEO) to increase organic rank and traffic E-mail Marketing Management:Devise online and tactical strategies to build up subscriber list while establishing best practices and strict compliance with privacy regulationsLead email marketing strategy to increase consideration from low funnel conversionsSocial Media:Oversee all social media channels and implement sound strategies for natural growth, community management engagement and measurementLeverage opportunities to curate and integrate quality user generated content and other online propertiesLead social team and agency partners ensuring social media strategies are aligned with marketing objectives and content is presented in a timely compelling manner engaging consumersProvide strategies to leverage the social media space to support other areas of the business - PR, Sponsorships, Advertising, After Sales, and Regional SalesMonitor impact of various social media activities/gather insights/provide reports, analysis and recommendations Analytics:Manage, analyze and interpret web traffic metrics to monitor consumer trends, evaluate visitor behavior and measure channel performanceDrive the development of strategic KPIs (aligned to business objectives), evaluating engagement, conversions and ROI of organic and paid trafficDevelop relevant, high caliber analytical reports for senior management and/or select teams on a monthly and ad hoc basisStay abreast of new analytics tools designed to streamline processes and/or deliver greater insight into visitor behavior Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, and or Digital Marketing; related field is an assetProven Digital Marketing experience (client or agency) with a strong foundation in marketing strategy and demonstrated success in managing areas specific to Web Design/Content Development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Email & Acquisition Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Mobile Application Methodologies and other online advertisingProven experience in a highly-quantitative role focusing on analysis and interpretation of web traffic data and digital marketing performance - with demonstrated success delivering relevant data and high-caliber reporting functions to stakeholdersSupervisory and project management experience leading technical web projects with a clear understanding of user experience fundamentals and best practicesExperience and functional understanding of core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS application development platforms and tools, Content Management Systems and Mobile - including managing projects related to those technologiesAdvanced knowledge Web Analytics tools;
