Intuit Customer Marketing Manager in Canada

As the Customer Marketing Manager, Growth & Monetization, you will lead QuickBooks ecosystem marketing to grow customer lifetime value. You’ll be responsible for nurturing awesome relationships with existing small business customers, introducing them to the solutions that add incremental value to their QuickBooks product(s), including Payroll & Payments solutions and QuickBooks Cheques & Supplies.

This role is ideal for someone who views experiences holistically through a customer-centric lens, is data-driven and digitally savvy, loves balancing multiple stakeholders and can switch quickly from strategic thinking to the tactical details to drive exceptional business results. Success in this role will require a metrics-based approach and ability to navigate ambiguous requirements at times. The successful candidate will exhibit a passion for innovation and for customers, with an expertise in customer relationship marketing.

Responsible for driving strategies to add valuable attach offerings to our customer base:  Key responsibilities: 

  • Create and execute customer segmentation strategies and programs to drive business objectives around growing product attach

  • Collaborating with data warehouse teams, product management, operations, finance, care and sales to create and enhance segmentation, predictive models, marketing databases and other systems required to effectively deploy our customer marketing strategy across the organization

  • Manage both online (SaaS) and desktop-based QuickBooks attach products and services portfolios

  • Develop & deliver on lifecycle marketing plans that match customers with the right QuickBooks solutions at the right time, using insights from product marketing, research & analytics

  • Own performance for key Lifetime Value drivers (new user activation, attach, active use, retention)

  • Own pricing strategy for attach (Payroll & Payments) products

  • Work with Intuit marketing & sales teams to develop & execute integrated marketing campaigns across touch-points (e.g. in-product, email, CRM, web, advertising, sales, partner channel(s), care, social)

  • Rapidly develop test/learn plans to successfully drive business results

  • Develop and deliver on customer marketing one-year revenue & attach plans and quarterly forecasts, priorities, promotions and contingency efforts (in partnership with channels and finance)

  • Partner with Migration Marketing to nurture appropriate Desktop customers into our online Payroll and Payments solutions, and manage any revenue implications

  • Closely partner with Product Management & Product Marketing teams to define, articulate and proactively communicate product feature releases

  • Support Sales and Care enablement through training, collateral and online content

  • Win customer hearts & minds and grow market share vs. competitors

Qualifications

  • Connected: Proven experience and passion to facilitate relationships (internal and external) to drive business results and be a strong collaborator with a willingness to take risks.

  • Scientific: Demonstrated track record of voracious curiosity, taking ownership for leveraging analytics and driving dramatic growth through successful marketing strategies and execution.  Uses analytical, hypothesis-driven testing to find new & effective ways to deliver on KPI’s.

  • Customer-centric: Tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviors and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have with Intuit

  • Collaborates & influences across teams and consistently communicates across levels & teams to achieve results.  Demonstrates efficient project management skills.

  • Demonstrated track record where he/she has operated independently and efficiently to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, and to manage milestones and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Accountability for results: a clear track record of taking ownership for leveraging analytics, partnering cross-functionally, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful marketing strategies and execution

  • Marketing professional with 3-5 years of progressive experience (technology/SaaS and/or B2B experience preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in marketing and/or sales
