JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution in Metrics/Analytics, Web, Computer Science, or related program

  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in metrics and web management

  • Must have advanced Excel Microsoft experience in addition to Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience working with Excel pivot tables, formulae, using graphic objects, performing multi-level sorting /design functions, using mathematical, logical and statistical functions; and, performing interactive analysis is essential

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (creating and deploying content) and Portal Administration Systems including building portal pages

  • Must be highly skilled in HTML, XML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Hands-on experience using the ATG Portal software, LiveCycle and MAX would be a definite asset

  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to clients

  • Good editorial judgment and experience in writing for the web

  • Demonstrated task oriented approach to assigned projects and the ability to perform duties requiring independent judgement, analytical skills and initiative

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously, must work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and communication skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Manager, Development Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and preparing Divisional/Departmental metrics reports such as development activity and time tracking related to development applications

  • Identifying key performance indicators/metrics and create custom reports and dashboards

  • Working with the Web Specialist to update and maintain the Planning and Building Department's web site

  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders and respond to inquiries

  • Building, amending and maintaining the Planning and Building Department's digital forms library using Adobe Acrobat Pro, LiveCycle and Visio

  • Participating in sectional, divisional and departmental work teams and projects as required, including web based surveys and creating reports such as the annual report

  • Maintaining the external and internal Official Plan web pages for both historic and current versions

  • Providing support for Planning and Building infrastructure applications, including but not limited to MAX and ePlans

  • Troubleshooting platform issues on externally hosted resource site; liaising with IT staff to resolve hosting problems

  • Acting as a Departmental Sharepoint resource person

  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Note: This is a contract up to February 2018

Hours of Work: 35 hour per week

Salary: $58,377 - $77,837
