Job Title:Line Worker

Department:Hand Packing

Reports to:Plant Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for loading unwrapped, primary packaged and secondary packaged products into applicable packaging.

  • Responsible for building pallets based on customer requirements.

  • Must be able to count properly and have a keen eye for quality.

  • Must be able to work shift work (6 am to 2 pm; 2 pm to 10 pm and some night shifts 10 pm to 6 am).

  • Position involves standing for long periods of time doing repetitive work.

  • Adheres to company GMP’s (good manufacturing practices), safety procedures and all other quality processes.

  • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education:

Minimum High School.

Experience:

Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing environment experience preferred. Prior experience/internship with food companies a plus.

Knowledge and Skills: Good verbal, written and multi-tasking skills.

Travel Requirements: None

Work Environment/Physical Demands: 100% of work involves being in the manufacturing environment.
