Revenue Manager, Rockies Cluster *Supporting Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Banff Springs and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, the Revenue Manager, Rockies Cluster is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability. *Hotel Overview: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is surrounded by the snow capped mountains and enchanting lakes of Jasper National Park; a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site which includes the #1 Best Golf Resort in Canada by the readers of SCOREGolf Magazine, a newly redesigned Fairmont spa, 6 food and beverage outlets, and many outdoor activities which are right outside your door. Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Rockies Area Director, Revenue Management, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

  • Generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports for all three properties as needed

  • Support Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management decisions and ensure communication with the RM Team

  • Assist Jasper Park Lodge in Revenue Management projects, such as Restaurant RM & Spa RM

  • Co-facilitate weekly RevMax (RevPRO) meetings with the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge team

  • Daily Monitoring of OTAs to avoid rate parity issues for all three properties

  • Review and address Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) notifications

  • Monitor any changes in inventory for the three properties and provide guidance on the impact on the current strategies.

  • Maximizes room revenue contribution with a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein.

  • Continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumer booking trends.

  • Spearhead set up and launching of new distribution channels in conjunction with GRC, so the Rockies Region may be a leader in new OTA opportunities

  • Work with RM Team to determine effective and engaging rate offers (packages) which are then distributed through the proper channels

  • Support DRM, Tour during peak contracting season with reporting and presentations

  • Maintaining an open and efficient flow of information to and from all operating departments within the hotels

  • Support the Rockies Region in Revenue Management Projects / Tasks

  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Employee Status

Qualifications :

  • Previous leadership experience in hospitality is required

  • Previous revenue management experience is an asset

  • Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action are foremost attributes

  • Comfortable in discussion forums; able to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly

  • Proven experience in analysis and problem solving required

  • Team building skills and proven track record is essential

  • Self-study and independent work ethics are required

  • Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems e.g. Excel, Word, IDEAS, Avero, etc. required

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

  • Highly responsible & reliable

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
