Intuit is seeking a solid front end engineer to become a foundational member of the team. This position requires strong software engineering skills with customer- focused professional experience. Along with coding, you will be responsible for working with product managers, backend developers and designers on our agile team structure. Key member of an engineering team that solves real world customer challenges, and work on variety of projects and teams
Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications providing awesome user experiences
Hands-on development. Write highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability and performance
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QE/QA and other Intuit teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results forward for Intuit
Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders
Stay aware of industry trends. Subject matter expert on web technologies
Ship high quality products and features with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health
Works well with others and ability to execute and get things done
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
1+ years of experience with CSS framework such as LESS, Sass, etc.
Firm grasp of framework URL based routing principles
Experience coding against RESTful APIs or service oriented middle tiers.
Experience working in a modern consumer environment and/or open source projects (contributed to node.js, dojo toolkit, NPM modules, etc.)
Experience with GIT SCM
Experience writing RESTful APIs and middle tier coding in Node.js, Java, Python or C++
Passion for user experience and strong design experience
Agile coding experience, working in small teams that have made a big impact fast
Experience with a data visualization package (Highcharts, d3.js, GreenSock, etc.)
Experience with accounting or financial application
Experience writing Tablet or Mobile applications
