Casino Rama is Ontario's only First Nations commercial casino, and is located 30 minutes north of Barrie in the beautiful lake country area of Simcoe County. Casino Rama engages more than 2,800 C.R.E.W. members (Casino Rama Employee Workgroup) to “deal excitement, big time” to our guests 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We have a fast paced Food and Beverage department which features 8 unique restaurants, and three complementary player lounges which average 50,000 covers per week. We also have a Banquet department which services eight meeting rooms and conference facilities accommodating 60 to 450 guests. These outlets offer a variety of dining and food and beverage options to our patrons through buffet and a la carte style dining. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food under the supervision of the Sous Chef;

  • Make cold trays and sandwiches;

  • Prepare salads, dressings, vegetables and fruits;

  • Bake, roast, steam, broil and otherwise cook food;

  • Ensure appropriate presentation and garnishment of dishes;

  • Maintain inventory;

  • Perform other duties as assigned;

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.

  • One (1) year of recognized Culinary experience in a fast-past restaurant required;

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized culinary program preferred;

  • Passion for food is a must;

  • Hot and cold food prep experience is preferred;

  • Must envision a career in the culinary industry;

  • Possess a desire to develop and learn new skills;

  • Must be able to follow direction;

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment;

  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as required;
