Principle Lean Analyst & Projects
You are a part of the Global Lean function. This group is responsible for facilitating the ongoing adoption of lean principles across our global manufacturing footprint. You will turn data into information for insight into key manufacturing/operational reporting and improvement activities/projects. A key element will include conducting manufacturing and process data analysis to include the design of associated data, requirements of the request/business need, and reporting techniques. In addition, you will also ensure baseline plant benchmarking across the manufacturing organization, and an effective measure of Lean system deployment.
Your role will involve:
Interpreting data, and key reporting methods
Ensuring data confidence
Using statistical analysis techniques to support function/project needs
Developing and implementing standard data collection needs, methodologies, analysis techniques, reporting, measurement cycle cadence, and ensure data collection efficiency
Reporting on operational/KPI improvement opportunities
Producing standard graphical analyses where required to support improvement activities / projects (Lean & Continuous improvement)
Plant KPI benchmarking and best practice sharing
Producing and aligning plant teams with monthly operational reporting and summaries to Senior Leadership stakeholders
Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective and sustainable Lean Manufacturing program to reduce waste, improve inventory turns, ensure on-time delivery to customers, improve and sustain product availability and reduce manufacturing lead times
Partnering with operational teams, and lead cross functional projects to deliver high quality, low-cost products within the shortest lead times possible by focusing on a continuous improvement culture
Supporting the post-merger integration of M&A’s into the Cimpress lean production mindsets, tools and processes
Representing the Head of Global Lean internationally when and where appropriate
In return you will bring:
7+ years' professional experience in applicable disciplines
Bachelor's degree required (Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
Masters degree a strong plus
Proven experience as a Data Analyst
Technical experience with data models / systems
Strong Knowledge of data reporting, and data bases (SQL, SQL Server, SAP)
Knowledge of statistics and statistical packages such as Excel, SPSS, Minitab
Strong analytical ability (extract, organize, analyze, report)
Report Writing, and presentation
Lean / TPS experience
Preference for Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Able to manage through ambiguity
