KIK Consumer Brands – Household Division

Our Household Division (“Household”) is the #1 player in North American private label bleach, and supplies private label cleaning programs to prominent American retailers. Although Household started as a small bleach plant in Concord, Ontario, we have since expanded to a network of 8 plants strategically located across the United States to efficiently manufacture a variety of cleaners for both hard and soft surfaces. . In addition to its private label portfolio, Household manufactures and markets Greased Lighting® and The Works® branded products.

KIK Consumer Brands – Pool Division

KIK’s Pool Additives Division (“Pool”) is a leading player in North America and key international markets with a broad brand and product portfolio spanning both the Mass and Specialty Retailer channels. We are well known for our Clorox® Pool&Spa™ products in the North American Mass channel, our BioGuard® brand in the North American, Australian and South Africa Specialty channel, and our Bayrol brand across Europe. Our multi-functional product formulations and innovative water testing innovations allow pool owners to safely and easily enjoy their backyard retreat.

  • Serve as a primary contact for the role

  • Follow-up on, collect and allocate payments from customers

  • Monitor customer account details for past-due, delayed and other payments

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies (Deductions, Claims, Allowances, Pricing)

  • Generate customer receivable aging reports, identify and prioritize past due payments and plan for collection efforts

  • Maintain customer accounts receivable files

  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve customer queries

  • Process adjustments to customer accounts

  • Prepare and review customer account reconciliations

  • Assist with month-end close of financial records

  • Compile and collect data to perform ad-hoc analysis or prepare reports

  • Maintain training manuals with updated processes

  • Assist with process improvement and automation projects

  • Participate in review meetings with management team

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma with a concentration in accounting/finance

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, etc.).

  • Understanding of general principles of accounting

  • Experience using JDE Oracle or large ERP in similar role

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills

  • Good customer service orientation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter, with the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • 3+ years’ experience in related role

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Experience in reconciling large customer accounts (Wal-Mart, NAPA, AutoZone, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, GM)

  • Experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive Supply industry.
